The main purpose of the App is to give you a new digital diary for all your logged Entertaining events.Be it an event you’ve Hosted, or Attended, or maybe a Collective get together. Log if it’s Lunch, Dinner or a whole Day Out. Note whether it’s an Allocated or Unallocated event.

As you type, the app instantly scans your Contact library to give you a seamless type, tap, and select experience.
If you are entertaining someone new, an "Add Contact Card" pop-up appears instantly, letting you create a fresh record right then and there without ever breaking your hosting flow.

Every household in your library features a dedicated Contact Card designed to help you honour your guests' unique needs with absolute grace.

  • Core Dietary Chips: Tag the three most common dietary requirements with built-in option selections: GF (Gluten-Free), DF (Dairy-Free), and NUT (Nut Allergy).

CONTACT ONBOARDING PROCESS

Moving your hospitality history shouldn't mean spending hours on your phone typing with your thumbs. Whether you have an extensive list of family, work contacts, or a local community roster, our Personal Contact Onboarding Import tool allows Premium Plan subscribers to sync an entire network in minutes.Get ahead of the game! You can download our template now and prepare your guest list over the next few days so it's perfectly ready to sync the moment you gain access to the app.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Step 1: Get the Template - Click the download button below to access our master spreadsheet template, and save to your computer. (Tip: Keep a blank copy saved to your computer for any future bulk additions!)

  • Step 2: Fill in Your Contact Details - Open the template using Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or Apple Numbers on your desktop for easy typing ability, and fill in your contact details with a comfortable cup of coffee.

  • Step 3: Save as a .CSV File - When your list is complete, simply go to your spreadsheet menu and select File ➔ Save As (or Export) and choose Comma-Separated Values (.csv). Save this file to your computer desktop.

  • Step 4: Move it to Your Phone (Easy Cloud Method) - To easily access this file on your phone at launch, save a copy of your new .csv file into your preferred cloud storage (like Google Drive, iCloud, or OneDrive), or simply email the file to yourself as an attachment!

  • Step 5: Import Directly Into the App - Once the app launches, Premium users will open their account, tap "Import CSV," and select the file straight from their phone's Files app or email attachment. No middleman, no hassle.


TASK LIST

Extensive, yet fully customizable, Task List that you just double tap each job in each area to cross off.
See your progress bar grow as you tick off your jobs while getting ready for your upcoming Hosted Entertaining Event.

N&N App provides a default task list where you can add/rename/delete areas, add/rename/delete individual jobs within those specific areas, drag and drop areas to suit your personal layout desire, etc.

If you make a mistake, you can always reset your list back to the App default Task List, make your custom changes and re-save your new Personalized Task List.

Section 1: Subscriptions & Payments

Q: What happens if my subscription payment fails or expires?
A: Don't worry, we've got you covered! If a payment doesn't go through, we offer a 3-day grace period to update your payment method so you don't miss a single beat. We will send you a friendly reminder during this time. If your details aren't updated after 3 days, your account access will be temporarily paused, displaying a gentle "Payment Required" overlay. Rest assured, your data is never deleted—your history remains completely secure and frozen in place until you choose to reactivate.
Q: What happens to my data if I downgrade my subscription plan?
A: Your hard work and hosting history are entirely safe with us. If you downgrade from Premium to Standard, any premium data (like your Menu Planning, Recipes, and curated Task lists) will be safely frozen and tucked away behind the scenes. If you ever choose to re-upgrade in the future, your premium libraries will instantly unlock right where you left them. Your data is only ever removed if you explicitly choose to permanently delete your Nectar & Nest account.
Q: What is your refund and subscription change policy?
A: To keep our backend tracking completely stable, subscription tiers and billing periods (Monthly vs. Annual) cannot be modified or refunded mid-cycle. If you choose to downgrade or cancel your plan, you will retain full, uninterrupted access to all of your paid features until the end of your current billing period, and your changes will officially take effect on your next scheduled billing date.


Section 2: App Terminology & Features

Q: What do "Allocated" and "Unallocated" mean on my planning sheets?
A: These terms help you beautifully distinguish between your community commitments and personal hosting!
"Allocated" refers to your officially rostered or scheduled entertainment events—gatherings you have formally committed to host within your Interchange Roster.
"Unallocated" refers to your personal, self-directed entertaining events—those beautiful gatherings you choose to host purely out of your own desire and heartfelt hospitality.
Q: What is a "Collective" event?
A: A Collective event is our beautiful way of handling joint or shared gatherings! Whether it’s a potluck, a co-hosted family reunion, or a collaborative friends or workplace feast, a Collective event lets you track multi-host contributions cleanly without cluttering your personal diary view.
Q: What happens if I permanently move or change my home Locality?
A: Nectar & Nest moves seamlessly with you. If you update your primary home base in your profile settings, the app will automatically recalculate and resort your entire contact library across our local, national, and international Waterfall matrices based on your new home coordinate—no manual retagging required!


Section 3: Data Ownership & Desktop Access

Q: Who owns the data I put into the app?
A: You do, entirely. Nectar & Nest is built with local-to-your-account data isolation. We do not track, scrape, or sell your personal social histories, guest lists, or culinary archives to third parties. It is a dignified, intentional space built by Community for Community.
Q: Can I download or back up my information?
A: Yes! To give you total peace of mind, Nectar & Nest features a built-in Monthly Backup System. On the 1st of every month, the app will send you a gentle reminder to export your entire database as a clean CSV file to your phone or computer, ensuring you always have a permanent copy of your history.
Q: Can I access the Nectar & Nest app on my desktop computer?
A: Yes! While the core hosting diary is designed as a mobile-first app for your phone, you can still access our web portal via any desktop browser to manage your account details and handle bulk contact uploads.
Q: I have a long guest list I’d like to add to my Personal Contacts Library. Do I have to type it all in by hand on my phone?
A: Only if you are on our Standard Plan! Anyone is welcome to download and fill out our beautifully formatted master spreadsheet template right here from our website to get their network organized. However, the ability to instantly upload and sync this CSV file is an exclusive feature reserved for our Premium Plan subscribers, right inside the Nectar & Nest app. If you start on our Standard Plan and decide you want to bypass manual typing later on, you can easily upgrade your account at any time to unlock this direct, in-app bulk-import tool!
Q: What if I want to add more personal contacts later on? Can I still use this bulk onboarding tool?
A: Absolutely! You can use this feature as often as you need. Whenever you have a fresh batch of contacts to add, simply grab a fresh template from our website—or keep an empty master copy saved to your desktop. Whenever your library grows, just fill out the sheet, remember to save it as a CSV file, and do another quick bulk upload straight into your Premium Nectar & Nest account!
